Valerio Evangelisti on Manituanadocument available in:English Español Italiano |
When Manituana hit the bookshops we unanymously decided NOT to hit Bologna, the city we live in, with our book tour. We have become deeply disaffected with this wax museum, its agoraphobic politics, its miserable narrow-mindedness, its fear of shadows, and its mayor. Without any remorse, we decided to meet up with readers in the neighbouring villages and municipalities, where the air is less stenching. We talked at San Lazzaro di Savena, Castenaso, and Rastignano. It was precisely at the Rastignano public library that our fellow novelist Valerio Evangelisti opened the event saying a few insightful things about our novel.
